This is a process to change the sleep settings on a windows 10 computer.
- From the Windows Start Menu begin typing ‘Power Options’. Select the icon shown below:
- After selecting ‘Power Options’, the following page will offer the option of selecting and customizing a power plan. In this example, the Balanced plan has be chosen.
After choosing ‘Balanced’, select ‘Change Plan Settings
- The following page, presents the option to adjust the sleep settings and display settings as well. The user will then select options such as how long it will take before the computer automatically goes to sleep.
Select Save to commit the changes that were made.
