When you open MyAFGE or MyLocal, you will see the main member grid displayed. You can search for specific members by using either the main Search box (Search Members), or by clicking the Advanced Search button.
Click in the Search Members box to search for a member by name, member ID, or social security number. The Search Members box can be used to perform searches for any one of the following search criteria options:
- Last_Name First_Name
- First_Name Last_Name
- Last Name
- First Name
- Member ID
Click Go to execute the search, once you have entered your search criteria.
You can click the Info button to display a list of available criteria for the Search Members box, as shown below.
You can search on more detailed criteria, including combinations of criteria options, using the Advanced Search feature. To access this feature, click the Advanced Search button at the top of the page. For more information on Advanced Search, see:
MyAFGE searches for members across all locals by default. AFGE staff can search for members in a specific local (or more than one local) by using the Advanced Search feature. For more information on Advanced Search, see:
MyLocal searches only for members in your own local.
You can export, download (from MyLocal only), or print labels for your results, using the buttons at the bottom of the page.
